Bromelain is a complex of naturally occurring proteolytic enzymes extracted from the fruit and stem of the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus). Due to its diverse pharmacological properties—including anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, and tissue-regenerative actions—it plays a crucial role in accelerating wound healing and repairing damaged tissue.
Introduced into clinical medicine as a therapeutic agent in 1957, bromelain has been evaluated extensively over the past decades in numerous international studies demonstrating its efficacy and safety across various clinical conditions.

Anaheal is the first and only knowledge-based bromelain product in Iran developed on the foundation of scientific evidence and clinical research. Its clinical benefits have been assessed in multiple clinical trials conducted by university faculty and clinical research centers across Iran, with documented positive outcomes in scientific literature. Full details of these trials are available in the “Clinical Studies” section.
