Nexoprazole
Indications:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) in the presence of erosive reflux esophagitis
- Symptomatic treatment of GERD in the absence of esophagitis
- Prophylaxis of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer
- Helicobacter pylori eradication in combination with antibiotic therapy
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Active Ingredients: Each sachet contains 10 mg of delayed release granule for oral suspension (as magnesium)
Preparation of solution:
Granules:
For a 10mg dose empty the contents of a 10 mg sachet into a glass containing 15 mL of water. Do not use carbonated water. Stir the content until the granules have been dispersed and leave for a few minutes to thicken. Rinse with 15 mL water to obtain all granules. Take the drug at least one hour before meal.

Indications:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) in the presence of erosive reflux esophagitis

Cautions:
- In case of skin reaction history to PPIs, use with caution.
- Increased incidence of osteoporosis-related bone fractures have been reported with prolonged (≥1 year) use of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy.
- In the presence of renal and/or hepatic failure dose adjustment may be needed.
- PPIs can increase the risk of fractures (Particularly when used at high doses for over a year in the elderly). May increase the risk of gastro-intestinal infections (including Clostridium difficile infection). May mask the symptoms of gastric cancer.
Adverse Effect:
Headache, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea, Flatulence, Gastro-Intestinal Disturbances, Nausea and Vomiting may occur.
Drug interactions:
Amphetamines, Benzodiazepines, Antifungal Azoles, Protease Inhibitors, Warfarin, Clopidogrel, Phenytoin, Fosphenytoin, Citalopram, Rifampin, Mesalamin, Mycophenolate, Methotrexate, Vitamin K antagonists, Iron salts, Digoxin, Ampicillin.
Contraindications:
Allergic reactions to esomeprazole or other similar proton pump inhibitor (e.g., Pantoprazole, Lansoprazole, Rabeprazole, omeprazole), or any other ingredients of this medicine. Esomeprazole should not be used concomitantly with Nelfinavir.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Not recommended due to insufficient information about taking Esomeprazole during pregnancy and lactation.
Storage: Store below 30° C. keep in a dry place, protect from moisture and direct sunlight.
Keep out of the reach of children.
