Scientific Name: Bromelain (Ananas Comosus)
Active Ingredients:
Each capsule contains 200mg (500 GDU) Bromelain (2500GDU/g).
Indications:
- Accelerates the wound healing process
- Scar prevention
- Hematoma resorption and ecchymosis removal
Dosage: Take 1-3 capsules one hour before or two hours after a meal.
Adverse Effects:
It may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. hypersensitivity reactions have been reported like skin reaction.
Cautions:
In the presence of severe liver or kidney impairment, hemophilia, asthma, tachycardia or sensitivity to pineapple, celery, carrot and fennel, consult your physician before taking this herbal medicine.
Drug Interactions:
Anticoagulants, low molecular-weight heparin or thrombolytic and antiplatelet agents have an increased risk of bleeding if Bromelain is used with these medications.
Bromelain enhances the absorption of antibiotics such as Doxycycline and Tetracycline.
Pregnancy and Lactation: Due to insufficient studies, taking Bromelain is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Storage: Store below 25°C. Keep in a dry place, protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of children.
