The research and development )R&D) department of Salamat Parmoon Amin Pharmaceutical
Company (SPAmeda) is dedicated to selecting and formulating innovatively new products,
updating existing products, modifying and optimizing production methods, and enhancing the
quality of our company’s products
We will proceed with the following stages for our projects:
– Leveraging the expertise of clinical pharmacy consultants and continuously reviewing products
approved by respected global organizations to select new and effective products.
– Compiling comprehensive information on the selected product and its active ingredients using
the latest international sources.
– Ensuring timely completion and submission of the necessary documentation for the inclusion of
the drug in the official Iranian drug list.
– Conducting pre-formulation and formulation studies.
– Performing product analysis and stability tests according to international standards, or developing
and validating internal methods if required.
– Creating a comprehensive pharmaceutical dossier or a questionnaire for the production of natural,
traditional, and complementary products.
– Overseeing the production of semi-industrial batches and the initial three industrial batches of
each product to finalize documentation and create a comprehensive pharmaceutical dossier for
product production approval.
The R&D department aims to achieve the following goals:
1. Formulating new products to enhance the company’s product portfolio.
2. Modifying the formulation of current products to elevate their quality.
3. Resolving potential production process issues for current products.
To realize these objectives, the following measures have been implemented:
1. Strengthening human resources through the recruitment of specialists and the training of young,
efficient workers.
2. Enhancing the infrastructure related to hardware and software processes within the research and
development department.
Leveraging the expertise, creativity, and experience of collaborating professionals, along with
access to international scientific resources and state-of-the-art equipment, the research and
development department is well-positioned to innovate and produce new products.
